Lurdes R. Basolí is a Catalan born photographer based it Barcelona, Spain.

After leaving photojournalism, she evolved towards a self-referential photographic artistic practice and around the hegemonic gaze. She currently explores alternative photographic narratives through the creation of images or the re-signification of the archive, with the aim of restoring the image of the Other.
